Dramatic Underfunding of Federal Administrations in Open Government
In an interview with Germany’s leading administrative newspaper Behörden Spiegel, Christian Heise, founding member of the German Open Government Partnership working group and board member of the German branch of the Open Knowledge Foundation, criticised the dramatic lack of resources in federal ministries and administrations when it comes to Open Government. Germany fulfils all the criteria for an accession to the international Open Government Partnership, which is a stated goal of the coalition agreement. There is still a lot to do until this happens.
